XCodes IPTV Features
An IPTV subscription has two halves: the service, which supplies the streams and your login, and the player app, which decides how everything looks and behaves. This page explains which features come from which half.
From the service
What the subscription provides
These depend on the XCodes IPTV service itself.
Standard login formats
Xtream Codes API details (server URL, username, password) load live TV, films, series and the guide in one step. An M3U playlist link is the fallback for simpler players. Compare the two.
Live TV, films and series
Content is grouped into live channels and on-demand sections, which most player apps show as separate menus.
TV guide (EPG) data
Where provided, guide data shows what is on now and next. Guide times depend on your app's time-zone setting — fix guide problems.
Connections
A connection is one stream playing at a time. You can install the app on several devices, but only as many can play at once as your plan allows.
Picture quality options
Streams may be offered in different qualities. Higher resolutions need faster, steadier internet — see speed requirements.

From your player app
Features that depend on the app you choose
Favourites, recordings, catch-up controls, parental PINs, multi-view and the look of the guide are app features. The same login can feel very different in two apps.
